Proving that we can effectively bridge our clinical and research faculty, Valentina was awarded 1st place for Outstanding Achievement in the Resident Research Symposium at the Master’s in Ophthalmology Meeting this past weekend in Orlando. She was recognized by the Florida Society of Ophthalmology for her efforts in evaluating the impact of human vitreous samples on transduction of cells in vitro by Adeno associated virus (AAV).
